It's nylon. We have an HP MJF printer at work we can use for personal projects. It's awesome
Do those controllers have electrolytic bulk capacitors on the back sides of the boards or are you using that 2x4 array of ceramics?
No electrolytics, just ceramics. Depends on your battery + wiring impedance, but for most circumstances I haven't found electrolytics to be helpful.
